FAQs on Brochure Design and Printing at Centerville Web Design

How do you design brochures for clients?

Creating a brochure is a multistep process. We start with a consultation -- in person or over the phone -- where get a rough idea of what you'd like. We use your existing marketing materials (business cards, Web sites, logos, etc.), to get a quick sketch of the brochure layout and content you'd like to include. If desired, we'll edit or provide additional content to fill your brochure.

After you've had the opportunity to review our first draft, we'll incorporate your suggestions as we finalize the design of your brochure. Once we've made those changes, you'll have another opportunity for review before publication, printing and delivery of your complete brochure.

How long will it take to get my brochure designed and printed?

Most brochures are complete and shipped within 14 days of your initial payment. Time varies, however, based on the complexity of the design.

What should I include in my brochure design?

Great brochure designs have one thing in common: they effectively generate new clients for your business. In order to do that with your brochure design, you're going to need to provide basic information about your business including your address, phone number, Web site, email address, business hours and, if applicable, fax number. More than that, though, your brochure design should be eyecatching. Use powerful images, negative space, and clever writing that encourages people to think about your store, service or product.

What should I avoid when designing my brochure?

One common problem we see when businesses design their own brochures is a desire to put as much content as possible into their brochure design. Too much content can give your brochure a cluttered and unprofessional appearance. By focusing on your ultimate goal -- a memorable and enticing brochure design that includes several ways to contact you -- you should be able to cut down the amount of content you'd like to include.

How can I make a memorable brochure design?

Memorable brochure design relies on two factors:

   1) Proving the benefits your company offers potential clients; and
   2) Giving your potential clients a reason to contact you.

One of the most effective ways to entice potential clients is to focus on the benefits your company could provide them. Do that by telling them a simple success story another one of your clients had. We all respond to great stories, and they do double-duty by helping you convey your product's power.

Compelling people to contact you can be as simple as offering a discount exclusively to people who possess your brochure, or by offering giveaway products, free trial periods, or by advertising an free upcoming event (or series of events). Again, the focus here is on providing value to your potential client. Once you take the focus off your business, and place it on your potential client, you'll be able to write a memorable brochure.

Do you offer any special printing options for my brochure?

Definitely. The following enhancements and many others are available for an extra fee:

  •  Perforations for tear-off coupons.
  •  Single or double tabs.
  •  Shrink wrapping for shipping to offsite locations.
  •  Nine brochure sizing options and nine brochure folding options.

Note: Please contact us for quotes on special printing options.
